Ashes to Alleluia (Christian Worship)

[Verse 1] I came in with stones Heavy in my hands You looked at me close And called me by name Dust on my shoes Shame on my tongue You said, “Let it go” And I came undone [Pre-Chorus] Now the room feels holy When You speak my fears Every broken piece Starts to disappear [Chorus] Jesus, You take me in Jesus, You make me new Ashes to alleluia I’m alive in You (alive in You) Jesus, You hold my heart Jesus, You pulled me through Ashes to alleluia Only love could do this (only love) [Verse 2] Hands full of old chains Lying at my feet You turned my graveyard Into a place I sing Mercy in the air Faith in my lungs I was running empty Now my soul has sung [Pre-Chorus] Now the room feels holy When You speak my fears Every broken piece Starts to disappear [Chorus] Jesus, You take me in Jesus, You make me new Ashes to alleluia I’m alive in You (alive in You) Jesus, You hold my heart Jesus, You pulled me through Ashes to alleluia Only love could do this (only love) [Bridge] When the night came hard You stayed with me When my hope wore thin You carried me I was lost in the dark You lit the way Now my tears turn gold When I call Your name (Jesus) [Final Chorus] Jesus, You take me in Jesus, You make me new Ashes to alleluia I’m alive in You (alive in You) Jesus, You hold my heart Jesus, You pulled me through Ashes to alleluia Only love could do this (only love) Ashes to alleluia I belong to You
